Things aren't really cool

The past few years have seen a rapid increase in us youngsters using slang..simply as means of making others laugh(in fact usually) and sometimes to try to blend in.
I myself do use slangs like 'Mother sister ek hona' which is to get into real trouble;the reason being..the humor behind it.I enjoy saying that,people around me have a hearty laugh too.
But a recent trend has infuriated me.
This trend replaces the conventional my of the English language by mah.My is shorter;so the idea of the word mah being easier to type being an excuse is ruled out.Well what I conclude is that it has now(the usage of mah or ma) is simply what teens feel is a shortcut to try and be cool.
Which leads me to another lame slang.
Kewl
To be very frank kewl isn't cool
I really don't understand the logic behind this.
It looks really fake at least to me.When you are on the phone talking to someone(a special someone probably) who you want to make a good impression on your kewl charms wont work.
And the surprising part is that people with poor command over English do not hesitate to use it.
Hot seems way better than hawt
The net as we see it today has become very influential on young minds and has had a huge impact on how we lead our lives and how we converse with people
Call it prejudice but my first impression on people using this way of conversing on the internet or through the cellphone text messages isn't really a good one.
And it takes time for me and for most people to really accept the niceness of a nice person who uses this way of talking
