A new one at last...

Hmm..just too many reasons as to why i wrote this one...firstly--it had been a while since i wrote something..n secondly--i had to do this..because of umm...i'd rather stay mum now..

A forgetful past..!!

Time hits us hard and fast,

leaving things to forget from the ugly past.

New things just turn up,

so tough to grasp.

every desperate attempt to restore normalcy,

seems last gasp!

time's got us caught in a baneful trap,

stuck with things of the past

and loads of other crap!

Looking back in time makes us low,

happiness just doesnt seem to grow.

These memories they will never fade,

joyous and merry which we made.

Alas..we are victims of our own doing..

we..the creators of our circumstance,

life isn't rude though

it'll surely give us another chance..!!

The fun i had..

I was prompted to write down this piece when i sat down to study on a rainy day..cup of tea in my hand.. for a test n i kinda went into a flashback n umm..recollected all those fun-filled moments then at Bangalore(maternal native place!) wid my cousin sis(i dunno were d hell she is now tho)..n yeah..v really gt along well..

I lie alone on my bed,

bogged academics progress!

looking back to the times I've erred,

many a stuff to confess..

Wish i could be laughing in merriment,

Just in like i was..in the warmth of the sweet summer.

2 years back

When freedom and joyousness knew no lack!

Gone then were the webs of trouble..

for i was no longer stuck in a rigid bubble!

usually rising late..

oh yeah!!..evrything seemed just great..!

life was realy hectic before,

and then came this lazy pause,

no one..would stop me now..i was the boss!

I did crazy things then..

uttered many a lie

they overlooked all this

Hardly any one created a hue and cry!

Had nothing to worry about..

my head was light

Dozed all afternoon,

hardly slept through the night!

All that toiling paid off at last..

i was all glee!

but time had swift wings..

flew away fast!

and the tenure of relief couldnt forever last!

oh..so beautiful were those days..

each ray of sunlight staring right at my face!

Thoughts

yeah...so i'm starting off with this piece of romantic crap

And no poking fun here..i hate ppl saying...hmm..Chetas..new chick,eh?

(It would have sounded weirder had i not translated the above line in english)

Thoughts are loads

but words are few,

lack words really

When i talk to you!

Stuff i wanna say

but the next moment

i dont hav a clue!

And then there are thoughts,

loads of em'

just to screw!

Things i wanna say,

but remain as feeble as

a cat's mew!

Feel as helpless as

something slipping away

Just like dew!

All i say on the phone

when we talk is--

NOTHING HERE..Tel me whats new?

Hmm...

Ah...a blog of my own at last

So finally i can treasure my poems after having to wait this long!!...a place where i cn showcase my (not so good) poeting skills..!!
